My Story
This is the opening of my journey online. This blog is to be a platform in which I can document, express and share my passions online.
Despite now being seventeen, I have always had a keen interest in journalism and in writing, but simultaneously, I also have a great love for fine art, textiles and travel. I have begun to record the parts of my life which involve all these aspects with the medium of photography and with the aspiration of setting up somewhat of a presence online. As a beginner, I could not yet refer to myself as a photographer or writer, however, I aim to record my improvements gradually…
Why May's Days?
The name of this blog was inspired by my (now) middle-name ‘May’. When I first began collecting content, I knew I wanted the title of this project to be simple and something with an aura of youth which would successfully represent me. I was born on the first day in the month of May- a time in which I believe has connotations of brightness and happiness. To me it is a distinct period of time when the earth is restoring, and spring has arrived. It is what I want this blog to encompass.
